Santiago de Chile, Chile., November, 2022.- NA-AT Technologies, a leading Mexican company in multibiometric technology, is still present in the Chilean market, where it presents its innovative offer that provides the validation of the identity of a person, through one-to-one biometric verification, which consists of a comparison of the fingerprints that are inside the smart card and the comparison of its coincidence with the biometric information provided by the  individual at the time the identity validation process is carried out.

"Our technology offers a very high level of security, privacy and data protection since it is able to validate "off-line" the facial and fingerprint biometrics of the person, the latter (fingerprint) unprecedented in Chile which allows our customers to protect their sales processes in digital environments, making them as or safer than if they did it in person"

-Carlos Chavarría, CEO de NA-AT Technologies

He added that currently more than 80% of Chileans already have their identity card, so the use of Match on Card technology  is totally feasible and the perfect route to reduce the risk of suffering any type of fraud due to theft or identity theft.

According to the data collected by the PDI in the last quarterly balance of the Metropolitan Economic Crimes Investigation Brigade (Bridec), in the first 5 months of this 2022, the complaints made for facts categorized as "Scams and other frauds against individuals" reached 7,256. Of this total, 4,207 were committed through digital channels, mainly related to the falsification of users' digital fingerprints.

Under this context, the automotive industry, banks, lessors, insurers, among other sectors, will be able to access unique technology in the market so that any client can, for example, sign a document without being physically in the agency or branch and validate their identity without the intervention of a third party, capturing through the camera of their smartphone their fingerprints,  entering the information of the Chilean identity card and contrasting this data through NFC wireless communication technology, with those stored in the chip that integrates the ID.

In terms of legality, these solutions are based on the Guidelines for Services and Information to third parties of the Chilean Civil Registry, and Law 19,628 on the protection of personal data.

"We have a long history in developing and maturing our solutions. Our main intention is that companies that acquire our technology foster an agile environment with safe and legal disruptive business models. "

-CEO de NA-AT Technologies

He specified that after more than 17 years of experience in the Mexican financial sector, NA-AT Technologies has contributed to economic reactivation, financial inclusion, digital identity protection and more, reducing times, expenses and fraud attempts due to theft or identity theft by up to 98%, derived from our multibiometric technology throughout Latin America.

At the Latin American level, according to estimates by "Markets and Markets", the market for identity validation solutions will reach a value close to 849 million USD in 2023, at a compound annual growth rate of 16.4% in the period 2020-2025. With this data we can perceive how important levels of adoption of this technology will continue to be achieved, preventing anyone from carrying out criminal acts on behalf of another person.
